On the next episode of...
Hello readers, Just a quick update for this blog. Next week I hope to have the next installment of "Moose Knuckle and the Lion's Eye" up. However, I'm also looking for topics for at least 4 more entries but I don't know what everyone would like me to talk about. So, I'm going to hand this off to anyone out there that reads this. What topics or subjects do you want to discuss. Comment here and the best ones will make onto the site next week. Nothing is closed off...unless it's

...and so it begins again.
Hello readers, So as much as I like discussing topics on this blog, some of these posts are going to be me announcing what I'm doing...because otherwise I'm going to run out of things to talk about unless it's the weather or politics and I think the media prints enough of that trash. This week I started outlining my second book. I know, you're thinking didn't you just release a book last month? Yes I did. However, that doesn't mean you stop. Writing is like any other job. Jus

The Writing Process - How do I do it?
I think there's a common misconception, or at least a lie that everyone tells to themselves when they're reading a book. Perhaps, it's not even thought about, but here it is. I also don't think some are aware of just how large a task it is, self promotion I mean. You're going to constantly look f

Moose Knuckle and the Lion's Eye - Part 1
George Sumner walked briskly down the street in Richmond, a suburb of Vancouver, Canada. It was mid-September and the air was a touch chilly but nothing that would bother anyone who was born and raised in the north lands like George had been. He’d gone to high school in Richmond, but had tried everything to get out. He’d done just that after he’d graduated. He’d spent two years at Columbia College in north Vancouver before flunking out. He’d accepted that college hadn’t been

Welcome!
So I have to admit putting my thoughts out to the world is not something I'm entirely comfortable with, but I do realize that its the things that are uncomfortable that worth doing. It's what allowed me to publish my book, if I'm being honest, it was a touch scary. However, I have tried to do things in my life that scare me. I've been on stage in front of strangers, I've put my art on display and I've moved across the country in the years I've been alive. All scary prospects.
