...and so it begins again.

Hello readers,
So as much as I like discussing topics on this blog, some of these posts are going to be me announcing what I'm doing...because otherwise I'm going to run out of things to talk about unless it's the weather or politics and I think the media prints enough of that trash.
This week I started outlining my second book. I know, you're thinking didn't you just release a book last month? Yes I did. However, that doesn't mean you stop. Writing is like any other job. Just because you completed one task doesn't mean the work is over.
I don't have a title yet, so don't try to pry one out of me. This is going to be a little darker than the last one though. Still a detective mystery and still a whodunit, but with more of Neo-Noir flair and set in Tampa Bay, Florida, a place I am very familiar with.
I know what you're thinking, "A neo-noir in sunny Tampa?", yeah well L.A. Confidential worked out so why not? Also I feel like Florida should get a story like this, if you ever lived here you know it's not all sunshine and oranges. Crazy things happen here on a daily basis and we have more corruption than you can shake a stick at.
Not to mention the fact that at least half the wild life will try to eat you. Is that a hint at an alligator scene? ...maybe, but you'll just have to find out.
In any case, this me just saying that yes, I put a book out but the next one is just around the corner. Also, I have an artist in mind for the cover. She's wonderful and hopefully I can afford her. The first book I self-published, just so I could get it out and into the world but this time I may actually try to query an agent. That means more work and probably a ton of rejection, but it's ok, I have thick skin.
Anyway, that's all for now. Please feel free to drop a comment.
